At St. Paul, we have been gathering for worship for 179 years. We offer ministry in the areas of worship, outreach, children's ministry, music, and education. We encourage our members to grow in their faith, as well as to reach out and share the "Good News" with others so that their lives may be enriched by the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
Children are important to us, a children's message is given weekly during our traditional worship service and during worship we have a nursery for children up to the age of five.
Every Sunday people are encouraged to visit, have a cup of coffee and fellowship. Throughout the year we have many opportunities to gather for fun and learning such as: Advent by Candlelight (a dinner hosted for the women of the church around Christmas) an Easter Fair for the children of the church, Movie nights for all members of the congregation, a church picnic as well as a weekly soup supper before a brief worship service on Wednesdays during the season of lent.
St. Paul has been blessed over the years and shares this blessing with others. Throughout the year the congregation reaches out to others with special projects.
A major ministry of our parish is the Fayetteville Food Pantry which currently serves approximately 120 families (over 600 individuals) a month. We are a satellite location of South Central Community Action Program serving people living in Fayetteville, Mont Alto, Pond Bank, and South Mountain. With the help of SCCAP, a few local churches, some local businesses, private donations, and many volunteers, we are able to provide these families with a substantial amount of food each month.
